The Flashbacks were probably the most challenging when editing our film. We had to try and make sure the flashbacks were obvious, otherwise it looked like bad editing.
Darren Aronofsky was inspiration for our group, due to his hip-hop montages. There are many quick shots which he cuts. This is the equivalent to a long scene, but just making it short and more catchy. We overall decided that we wanted it to be more sequential. We made the scenes more interesting by butting our seconds of our clips. The image jumps in a good amount, so you don't miss the images. This contributes to the male character, it goes alongside his unpredictable character.
