We have been researching different fonts for the opening of our thriller, we agreed together we didn't want anything cliché and too typical for our thriller. We have also researched different thriller movies and looked at their opening credits which also gave us inspiration for the fonts we wanted to use. For example 'SE7EN' used a font which automatically makes the person watching expecting a thriller/horror genre. For example 'The Lovely Bones' has quite a modern font and is not usual for a thriller, where if I wouldn't have watched the film I would of have expected it to be a thriller, maybe more drama/romance genre. Paranormal Activity is another example of a typical thriller, not just that the font is quit spooky but also the colour red represents danger, energy, war, danger, strength, power, determination as well as passion, desire, and love.
