Here is a mood board for our thriller, we have included:
Slide 1: Our male kidnapper- His character is going to have a plain appearance, whom is typically wearing hoodie, jeans, a baseball cap, trainers and obviously the ring which is the most symbolic accessory he will be wearing. His clothes will be dark which will help with heightening his intimidating figure.
Side 2: Location- Our thriller opening will be set in the young girls study, a train station and a garage. This board just represents the mood we are trying to create with each location. So isolation is a key theme we will try to create which will make the scenes look much more scarier. Also we will also try and use lighting to create a more dark scene.
Slide 3: We want our main character (the girl) to be quite rebellious, and we want you to capture this from her appearance. So as you can see she provokes people around her to become involved with her. She wears a lot of makeup, and dresses and looks much older than her age. We included the phone and mac computer to show that her world revolves around social media and the use of technology overpowers her.
