Opening Synopsis

Scene 1: Close up shot of a bare, exposed wall, with a blue hue of light on it. A medium sot of a few newspaper articles pinned to a wall, of which have titles on the topic, of abduction and kidnapping in the local area. Then a flickering shot of a TV screen, which is creating the blue hue of the room. The TV is playing the news reporting on a story of a missing girl. Then a medium shot of a man’s hand with a ring on, resting on the arm of the sofa, holding a glass of whisky. Cut to more shots of the room, the walls, and the newspaper articles. Then back to the TV screen and the news reporter. Then cut to close up shots of the man again: of his eye, oh his clothes- a shirt and cardigan, of the newspaper sat next to him, and of his features, e.g. mouth and stubble. Close up shot of his arm on the arm rest, next to his phone, which receives a message from *girl*.

Scene 2: It opens with the young girl with her arms crossed lying on her desk whilst in class and glancing up at the clock. She is tapping her hands on the desk and shaking her knee irritably on the floor. Then there is a (close-up) shot of the clock, which reaches 4:00, and she quickly gathers all her belongings on the desk and shoves them in her bag. She then receives a message from the boy.

Scene 3: The girl is waiting at the platform; she starts to get nervous, twisting her fingers, tapping her feet (nervous body language). There is then a flash back of her previous abusive boyfriend. Shots of him shouting, hitting her etc.

Scene 4: The girl gets off the train. She is walking up the street to where she is supposedly going to meet the boy (garage). The area is really empty, by looking at her body language she begins to get nervous again and suddenly a man hands (the same hands of her abusive boyfriend as we can tell by the same ring he is wearing in the flashback) cover her mouth and it cuts to black.
